I have pictures of the telegraph station at Eucla before the rabbits arrived. They include the original telegraph building as well as local scenes. They were taken bt Harry Manning later of fame for the murder on the rabbit proof fence (Snowy Rowles). If anyone would like copies they should contact me. I own the origibnal photographs. The Battye made a cd for their own use.

G'day Brian. Just wondering if it was you I worked with in Exmouth in the 70s.

I was there from the commisioning of the station until 1978. I do not know about work, did anyone really work? Was a nice long holiday for most I think. Where did you spend your time? Senility has taked over and I can remember very few from those days.
I see John Davies regularly. He worked in the bank. Still in contact with a few people but not many. Some have died, others moved on.
Regards
Brian
